What is Gastric Cancer?

Gastric cancer, or stomach cancer, is abnormal cell growth in the stomach lining, often starting as adenocarcinoma, with early symptoms like heartburn, pain, nausea, fatigue, bloating, and weight loss, with risk factors may include H. pylori infection, diet (salty/smoked foods), smoking, or family history.

The cancer development process is caused by both genetic and environmental factor influences. Around 50% of cancer incidents might be provoked by environmental agents, mostly dietary habits and social behavior.
